One reason that it is hard is that if it doesn't show up on tests, they are hesitant to say adhesions or some Drs. don't believe they cause pain. And I feel that becuz it affects women more, there is less research done.  Some times I think we are labeled depressed, drug searchers etc.. It took me many Drs to finally get a diagnosis.  Hang in there.  I think the best option right now is pain management unless of course you get blocked. There are adhesion specialist's out there that do surgeries.  Some people get cured and others get them back.
