You ask "Why do you guys have to go to Germany?" The reason is German doctor, Dr. Kruschinski, is using a substance (I believe Sprayshield) that keeps adhesions from forming after surgery. Some people Dr. K. had operated on say he goes back in with a laparoscope afterwards (week or so) to make sure the adhesions haven't returned. Germany also has a Cine MRI that detects adhesions....The U.S. doesn't have anything available that detects adhesions. It took seven years for me to find out the reason I was hurting so bad after surgery was because I had massive adhesions in my abdomen that had entrapped nerve endings. Dr. Redan performed two Laparoscopic Adhesiolysis on me but each time the adhesions returned. He removed my navel during the second surgery. He said it sometimes takes two or three surgeries to get rid of all the adhesions. I have a video of the second surgery. I'm not sure, but I believe, Dr. Kruschinski trained Dr. Reich in the lysing of adhesions or I could have it backward....that is, Dr. Reich trained Dr. Kruschinski. I guess one could Google it.
Dr. Redan is an experienced general surgeon who trained and performed hundreds (perhaps thousands by now) of surgeries with Dr. Reich, the pioneer of Laparoscopic Surgery. If Dr. Redan is using Sprayshield to keep adhesions from reforming, it would be worth going through surgery if there was a high success rate that adhesions didn't reform. Each patient is different...not all people form a lot of adhesions. Those of us that do, are in excruciating pain hoping that one day we will be able to get rid of the adhesions so that we can live a happy life.
I haven't heard from Dr. Redan since I informed him I'm in excruciating pain and my adhesions returned.

Why do you guys have to go to Germany? Would it not be easier and cheaper to come to the U.S. and see adhesion specialists here? Or is that even possible?
I have no idea what you guys have to go through up there so that's why I'm asking. I feel bad for anyone who has to leave their country or province to seek medical care. I have to leave my state to see Dr. Redan but I have met him and believe (and hope and pray), that it will be worth it.
