HI Katie (from Lou Ont Canada) That is a very good question and thank you for asking it, I believe in going to the U.S. its more expensive than going to Germany + also Spray Gel is used and not in the U.S. The health service is very poor in this area, to find a surgeon who understands abd adhesions, are no were to be found + adhesion is not spoken of, thay are living in the dark ages.When I went to my Dr. I asked him if any thing can be done, he said keep taking the pills and do your know research, I could not believe at what he said, he gave me no hope. We do not have any support, from G.P.s or surgeons alike.
You are very fortunate to have caring Drs (the ones I have read about from you guys on this web site)+ are now useing an adhesion barriers, we have nothing like that, we are just like lambs lead to the slaughter and if you tell them, how much pain you are in, that because you had surgery that in time will go away(what a joke)!!!!! and yes I would go to the U.S to have surgery, if it was feasible.
