I think that is an excellent idea....because I have the pain and really don't want to go under the knife again. My pain managment specialist, suggested doing more sit ups and crunches to help rebuild the muscle. And I laughed....if you have pelvic pain, isn't doing ab workouts going to increase that??? But I have given it a shot, and didn't find relief. I do Yoga, and have found that it helps a little. Also, some meditation, it helps for relaxation and can ease pain for a brief time. Pacing activities, chores, etc. also helps. I used to try and tackle the world in one day and found myself couch bound for 3. So I have paced myself and have specific days for certain household chores, and it makes things a little easier. As far as constipation goes, I am at the other end of the spectrum with IBS, but have found that a bowl of Fiber One cereal every morning helps with regularity a little. I have been put on Dicyclimine for bowel spasm, and that medication is amazing. For depression I am still at a loss. I have been on 5 different types, and have not found any particular one to work better than another. My therapist said to take an hour everyday to do something that is self satisfying for only you. It was hard for me to try that being married and the mother of 3, but I did, and it helps.Knowing that you have that set time daily, is a motivational boost as well as spiritually! It keeps me going....I hope some of this helps!! Brightest Blessings, Jess

We talk a lot about surgery and that is fine, but I am not having surgery right now. So we need to focus a little on making ourselves feel better. If anyone has suggestions on what helps them with the pain, nausea, constipation, depression etc...then maybe it could help others a little. I have gone to Germany, and to PA for surgeries and I do not want another one right now until there is more evidence on what the Drs. in the states are doing. There are a lot of people that need suggestions on what helps others instead of surgery after surgery.
