Hi Tracy, I have had 2 colonoscopy's. The preparation the day/night before is worse than the actual procedure. You will be out...no pain, I promise! Then you wake up in a recovery type room. I too, am not sure what the meds are they use - but they are nice!!! Just try to relax -- good luck! Let us know how it goes!!!!!!
