Hi! I actually had a tummy tuck to help me with all the damage done to my abdominal wall from adhesions. Dr. Jay Redan kindly attended my tummy tuck surgery in the OR with the plastic surgeon because I wanted an adhesions specialist in there to watch over me to make sure everything was being done to reduce the chance of adhesion formation. I am doing fine now, but have experienced healing after the tummy tuck....it took a while! I have a lot of work to do to increase my core strength, but I don't have actual pain. It's hard because everyone is different and heals differently. Adhesions are surely possible, though. If you would like to compare "healing notes" feel free to email me. Sincerely, Sarah
