Test shows abnormalities is it adhesions?

I just had a Small Bowel Follow-Through which shows the following:

Thickened folds in the proximal jejunum, consistent with an infiltrative process, such as lymphoma, amyloid, sprue, or perhaps giardiasis.

Could this be adhesions still? I don't believe I have ANY of the diseases listed above but I do believe I have adhesions. And because there is thickening of the colon does this mean that this part of the colon will have to be removed?

Thanks in advance.
