I thought I was alone

I, too, have had so many surgeries I have lost count. Well, I was feeling good for a while but now I am doubling over with pain again. I have been dealing with this for a long time. I have taken anti-depressants and medicine like that to get me over the hump. It seems like our quality of life is poor and all we can focus on is the darn pain. I try to be active but there are times when I can barely even move because I hurt so bad. I had surgery once with the scar tissue was so bad the surgeon nicked my bladder and I had to wear a catheter for a little while til it healed. That was really hard to swallow because I was so young and yet felt 150 years old. I just happened on this site and was very amazed to read stories so much like mine. I will take more time to read through the site to learn more. I felt really encouraged when I read the letter. Now, I just nned to build up the courage to call one more doctor to help me. I hope that I'm lucky this time.
