I have recently been diagnoced with SMA Syndrome. I have been told that
this is rare, I have been reserching this and have found reasons to
believe that it maybe caused by adhesions. SMA Syndrome is called many
diffrent medical terms, but it is a collapsing of the duodenum between
the Mesenteric Artery and the Aorta. I am trying to find ananswer to
why this has happened to me. I have also lost about 50lbs in 10 months,
but I have a hard time thinking that is the only cause. My doctors have
me on TPN through a PICC line. I am on liquids only. I was wanting to
see if this could be caused by adhesions, Is anyone out there that has
SMA Syndrome?
