Can Tummy tuck cause adhesions?

Hi .......In my experience, anytime the abdomen is opened, it is possible for adhesions to form. I had a tummy tuck in 2002 and a few months later my plastic surgeon went in again to cut the adhesions that had formed. Unfortunately, the adhesions came back, so six months later I had a laproscopic procedure to cut the adhesions. The Doctor said that they were really bad, but I was lucky and now fours later I am pain free.
