I was released from the hospital yesterday after surgery for bowel
obstruction. I seem to be doing well. My obstruction was caused by
adhesions (I've had five abdominal surgeries) and a hernia. I am just
wondering what I should expect in terms of recovery time, when I can go
back to work, etc. I was given just several days' supply of oxycodone
for the pain.
