Abdominal/intestinal Adhesions

My Gastroenterologist says I can expect more than one hospitalization
per year for the rest of my life, but he did mention a surgical option
that sometimes brings relief for years. Some surgeons have experience
planning surgeries that remove only the most problematic scar tissue, so
they do little to add to the problem in the long run. I assume they
would have to use soft tissue imaging to obtain an exact understanding
before surgery. I assume that laporoscopic methods might be used in
ideal cases.
I would deeply appreciate hearing about any surgeon who has significant
successful experience at this. If you know of any, or have an idea on
how I could find one, please let me know.
I am 57. Being able to work a few more years would make a very positive
impact on the rest of my life.
