Keep in mind, the scope during a colonoscopy only maneuvers through your colon. It does not go all the way through your small bowel. If you have adhesions pulling your colon tighter this may certainly be something to consider.

However, it may not help in cases where the smal bowel itself is being constricted due to adhesions. Those type results would be determined by examination of the small bowel during a lower GI X-ray where they have you drink a solution and take a series of x-rays every few minutes to guage the transition time.
