Not only does it sound like adhesions, but it sound exactly like the same series of operations I had in 1994. First it was removal of my left ovary which had a huge cyst on it that wouldn't go away, but was also strangulated by adhesions. Then it was the GB only 2 months later. 6 weeks after that, an abcess on my right kidney...then we ended the year with dislocating my ankle and needed nerve repair surgery and finally, on Christmas night, a bowel obstruction. So...yes, it's probably adhesions.
That's what caused most of those problems, except the foot! lol.
Anyways...see what the surgeon says. Although more surgery will cause more adhesions. See if they can give you something to control pain first...as long as there are no signs of obstruction, you won't catch me near an operation room! Good Luck.
