Is my pain caused by adhesions?

I'm a 23 yr old married woman who's husband is
in the Navy. In '96 I had a right-salpingo
oopherectomy to remove a "dead" fallopian tube
and a "dead" ovary due to a cantaloupe sized germ
cell tumor. About five months ago, I started
having pelvic pain. The pain is a dull ache.
somewhat similar to menstrual pain, but not as
severe.
I went and saw an Internist at the base and he
ordered a pelvic ultrasound.
Apparently the ultrasound turned out fine.
He seems to think that my pain is caused by
adhesions. However, the pain is constant and
not caused by any moves or twists. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
