HI Ladies.

My experience with bloating occurs every time I eat, no matter what I eat. In my case, it is because the intestines have been damaged from all the adhesions and have caused a "dysmotility" problem which, for me goes all the way to the esophogus. I also have gastroparesis (the temporary paralysis of the stomach). When i eat more than a tiny portion, I bloat and stay bloated until my body can work the food through the digestive process. It does get worse with dairy products and other gas producing foods. The only way to find out if you have motility issues is a series of horrible tests where they monitor the movements of your digestive tract. Most university hospitals have these capabilities, but at the time I had them done in 1998, I have to go to the digestive disease clinic in Iowa. Good Luck.
