Umbilical hernia

Has anyone had good results from umbilical
hernia surgery?I have just been diagnosed with
one.I have had c-section,tubal ligation,total
hysterectomy,and gallbladder surgery.I know I
have lots of adhesions.Should I take a chance on
surgery.I sure don't want to wait and wind up
with blockage.Also does anyone know if an umbilical
hernia sits on the bladder and can cause bladder
infections and problems.I am like everyone here.
So tired of hurting.Some input please.Also a
good hernia surgeon in the Atlanta,Ga.area?
