I also have had several surgeries for abdominal adhesions. I had a coughing spell one night a I felt a pop by my belly button went to the doctor and sure enough it was a hernia right by my belly button. When I went to the surgeon he said it was about the size of a 50 cent piece' not true. When he did the surgery it turned out to be the size of an orange. So you see you should go get it checked it could get worse.
