I had a partial hysterectomy (uterus and cervix) however, I am pretty sure
that they can do a complete hysterectomy via laparoscope. You should double
check that. I can't see that the fallopian tubes and ovaries being harder
to remove than the uterus and cervix, therefore requiring an open lap. Did
they tell you why they were taking it all?? At least if they leave the
ovaries, you won't go into premature menopause.
