As most on this board will tell you, have surgery after surgery is NOT the answer. Even via a laparoscope you can still see regrowth of the adhesions (as you obviously did) and they tend to get worse after each cutting/removal. You need to read the boards and the quilt to further educate yourself. Even having a baby will not help your adhesions, and god forbid if you require a c-section.....

I too had an emergency appendectomy. This surgery resulted in many painful adhesions for me as well. My doctor went in and removed all of the adhesions with a "lap" and this procedure actually helped me to conceive. I was actually advised by my OB and PCP before my procedure that the best time to conceive was after a "lap" and after years of trying unsucessfully before, I became pregnant within a year after the procedure.
