Everytime you in for another surgery (even to get the adhesions removed) you risk getting many more adhesions. It's a non-stop thing. Right now from all of the people I have contacted and heard from, there is no barrier that works 100% or it appears even 50% as most people who have had adhesiolysis are now complaining of having more pain than before. There seem to be only a very small percentage of people who actually get relief, and for how long that relief stays appears to be questionable.
If you haven't done so yet, please read over the adhesions quilt. The stories there tell a lot.
