Did he also tell you that you have a 50/50 chance of the adhesions getting much worse??

Kathy:

OK. Just met with my GI doctor yesterday. He told me I have 2 options. 1. Live with the pain and remain on high dose laxatives for the rest of my life or 2. Have a diagnostic laporoscopy with adhesion surgery to treat the problem. The surgeon has given the procedure a 50/50 chance of 100% success. 50% chance that it will be successful with no complications and 50% chance that it will not get better. What do you think? Should I take chance that this could work?
