Dear Jen, I can definitely sympathise with you. My primary care doctor says he believes some of the pain I am having is emotional also. He knows the info I gave him on adhesions and says that adhesions do not cause pain. I personally know they do. I had a partial bowel obstruction last year and had surgery. Now I am scheduled to see a new surgeon down in the Miami area, because my primary care physician doens't seem to trust any surgeons where I live. He didn't even bother reading any of the material about adhesions. So I know what you are going through. As soon I am finished with this new surgeon, I am switching to a new doctor who understands adhesions. Maybe you should try looking for another doctor too. Dee
