Hi ~ I just found this wonderful site this morning while trying to find
info. on oxycontin and paralytic ileus. I've had multiple abdominal
surgeries resulting in horrific adhesions ~ one dr. said my abdomen is
"a wall of concrete". I've had fistulas, obstructions, am now childless
and "uterus-less", and have pain, pain, pain. Have been on percocet and
recently put on Oxycontin, but it is making me very nauseated, no
vomiting yet, thank you God ~ but have gone from having 7 - 10
stools/day to nothing for 2 - 3 days and AWFUL cramping. Has anyone
else had this problem? Does anyone know if you do have a hx. of bowel
obstructions, if Oxycontin can instigate another one? Thank you so much
