Ok Ladies....Here is the scoop. I asked the therapist what is to be expected as a result of massage therapy. She said, " It is Not going to have any effect on the adhesions. It is designed to relax the muscles and fascia. When you are in pain, you clench the muscles involuntarily. After a long period of this the muscles tend to stay clenched. This causes more pain, as the muscles are attached to the fascia. This will cause the muscles and areas around it to be effected. The therapy is supposed to relax the muscles and fascia. I guess any small amount of pain relief is worth it. I will keep going and see if I get any relief. It is amazing how much destruction these adhesions do!!
