Teri, I can certainly relate. I have had a total (everything) hyst since 1995 and I am still having lower and now upper right quadrant pain that goes around my hip to my buttock and back area. It burns, throbs and feels like someone is stabbing me over and over again. I just had my gallbladder removed June 21st and now the same site is hurting. I am not sure what I am going to do now. I am on the patch and Norco for breakthrough pain. I just started trying the new TENS unit which does not seem to work. Have you considered accupuncture or hypnosis? I have tried both (they did not work for me) but it has worked for a lot of people. I hope this helps a little bit just to know that other people have the same problem.

Good Luck, Lynn >>
