Hello Dawn. First of all just want to say I hope you are feeling better since the above message. And second...I had a small bowel obstruction last year with lots of complications...but found this site and very greatful to know there are others out there who know what its like...I'm very fearful of another obstruction and feel I have one now because of pain etc...I find the plenty of water helpful...however...up until now I also found the Phosphates solution helped immensly ! Although I suppose if used on a regular basis would probably cause a new problem...but it's worth a try for you. (I foundly call it "liquid drano" lol Did you have one obstruction? Or did it happen again because of scar tissue? Also..with ur vomiting...when that happened to me...it was because I had peritonitis because of my delay in treatment (thought I had the flu)..look forward to hearing back from you...best wishes to you...Diana
