My Doc told me that the mesentery (the stuff that holds your intestines in) gets kind of gooey when you have IBD and that it's more likely to attach to the wall of your abdomen. I guess the key would be to find out then how to make that mesentery tissue less gooey. Drink more water, perhaps? Maybe I'll try that (I am not a water drinker by nature, mostly tea). Maybe that's my problem. >
