Marias,

I don't think there is such thing as nosey here. The other post you got earlier is exactly right. Helen's information is something I went through thouroughly. You can search through my post uner craig richardson to see my wives story. Sorry for the name change there, I don't use my name on internet for privacy reasons. SO don't get confused, my name is Rick.

My wife is very bad shape right now, has not been out of bed for a month until last night due to a strong injection. My wives adhesions come on suddenly and get progressilvly worse. 33 days ago, she was not even on pain killers, since the 18th of June, she has not left the bed or couch and is going out of her mind with pain. SHe is close to your age. The reason we are all telling you to get educated is becasue almost ever woman on this site has done exactly what you are doing and following the primary surgeon into surgery after surgery. As you read the posts on this site, one thing will become evident. Each surgery solves the problem for 1 to 3 months and then you are in worse shape. My wives last surgery was in Jan 2003. She was in bad shape then, and she is in worse now. We are going to Germany in 1 week for her surgery.

The reason I did not want to go to much into detail about my situations is that what works for us, might not be the best solution for you. I guaranttee that you can be more educated than 90% of the doctors in this country after you have thouroughly searched this site and read everything. That is what I did, I got all my doctors to finally admit they didn't know what they were doing concerning adhesions. Prior to my getting educated, they acted like experts.

Just start picking words like surgeries, medications, Helen Dynda, adhesions, etc and read the posts. You will get educated real quick. And do yourself a favor, ignore the arguing that is going on right now, it won't help you in your decision.

Rick
