Dear Laynia, about off board solictation

Dearest Laynia, Please be cautious of people who contact you from off the board without your solictation. I am sure they ( whom ever contacted you) mean well but the doctors in Germany have advocates here thru the IAS and they will be able to give you the most ACURATE information about whatever doctor you choose. You need to make an informed decission based on facts not conjecture. You need to have all the facts to make the choice that is right for you!! not someone else. There have been rules in place about posting on the message board for sometime now. They were formed without any other ulterior motive but to protect us. As a group ( remember we have all been told at one time or another it is all in our heads, we have become so sick that many of our loved ones have turned their backs on us...ect. ect.)we are very vulnerable to suggestion and desparate for help and for answers. Many have tried or have actually taken serious advantage of us. Some of these stories are quite tragic. This is a safe place to do your reasearch, ask questions, interact with fellow sufferers and if it is time for you to make the decission to seek help, all the information you need to make an informed decission that is right for you. Lisa Graven is the designated advocate for Dr. Kruschinski. Her email is Lilylover5555@aol.com She is a wonderful lady who will inform you but not pressure you. No one on this board should ever feel pressure! The right decission is one you feel comfortable with. If it is Dr. Korall you seek then the information is also here. Please do not make any drastic decissions until you have educated yourself on what it means to be an adhesion sufferer. I too have been to Germany and always refer sufferers to Lisa first and then if my humble opinion is wanted I am happy to share. Thats the way it should be. On your terms and no pressure. I believe no one has been ever been kicked off the board....but recently a few have constantly overlooked the rules of posting on the message board and perhaps sulked away....not kicked off. This is an open forum and that is what Dr. Wiseman wants it to be. He works tirelessy to help us and indeed to protect us...on many different occasions and on many different levels. He is not in it for the money, LOL, this all comes from his own pocket and whatever contributions he can get to help offset the cost of keeping this safe haven for us to interact.
