Craig,
I am sorry your wife is in such pain. Please realize that if it
didn't work the first time, it more than likely won't work the
second time. Unfortunately surgeons are just not equipped in
the US to handle the adhesion problems! That is why so many
women on this board have surgery after surgery after surgery......
it doesn't work!
If you can possibly afford to go to Germany, GO!! Don't think
about it, ponder it, or try another surgery here--just take her so
she can be helped................
Dr. Kruschinski will answer your questions if you write him.......
send her operative report to him via e mail.....he will answer your
questions and schedule her for surgery. He does not use CO2
and is a very talented surgeon........you will find many names on

Write them, call them...............you will see what Sally, myself and
others have to say about his techniques, planning a trip, etc.
I know how you feel watching her in pain, as I occupied
that position toooooo many years............God only knows all the
effort I made to get Melissa help..........it just couldn't be found
in the US............I never imagined in my search,
I would be taking her to Germany!!!!!
Today I am so grateful to know there is a doctor that is available!!
When we finally found help, I didn't care where he was!!!
I was just so very grateful to know there was one!!!!!!
Again, if you have the funds.............GO!!!!!!!!! You will never regret
your decision!

Thank you for your comments. This is really the question that we are
faced with right now. This would my wives second adhesion removal and
since no doctors are able to answer our questions, I appriceiate anyone
that can maybe expand on thier expeiriences like Sallys. We had decided
earlier this week to try to have the OBGYN that removed them last time
to try one more time. If that did not work, we were planning to fly to
a specialist. Now I have Sally's reply along with some emails that were
sent directly to me that are making my question that course of action.
Is it the general consensus of this board that having them removed by
anybody outside a specialist could cause more damage. We are willing to
do this if it just came back the same and then see the specialist, but
if it is increasing the problem, I definetly want to rethink that course
of action.
Just a little more infomation. My wives adhesions last time were 2
adhesions, one connected, (not wrapped around) the large intestine and
one conncection to the abdomen and another organ. The one on the
abdomen casues most of the pain which is a a bad as anyone could handle
when it hits. I need to take her to get them removed before she can't
take it anymore, (getting worse every day), yet I don't know what to do.
