X> Before you choose a surgeon...

.) You must learn as much as you can about Adhesions Related Disorder (ARD)!! 2.) You must learn about the different surgical interventions that are used for adhesiolysis procedures. Then, compare these surgical interventions.. Which one will give you the best chance for a successful recovery?

.) Ask the prospective surgeon if you can talk to his/her former patients, who've had the same kind of surgical procedure that you want to have - and then go on from there.

.) Take full responsibility for your medical care and treatment.

.) Ask lots and lots of questions - until you are totally satisfied and feel secure that your surgeon is very skilled and experienced in performing the laparoscopic adhesiolysis procedure you want.

.) Until you feel secure - DON'T DO ANYTHING!!
