I have been on Ultram fro like six years now. I have very bad side effects when I don't take them with in a centin time. I have increased the dose since I have started. My doctor back then told me it was not addicting. I tryed to stop a little while after I started them on my own, and I didn't sleep for like 5 days. I had them on me to take but I wanted to try and stop. I went to the doctor to find out what could be wrong and he told me it is not the Ultram, and he was sure of it. I went home and took two and went right back to normal and was sleeping again. I tryed to stop again about three years later because the insurance wouldn't cover them, and I couldn't afford them every month. The thing I dont like is worring when my refills are do. Am I going to fill them to earlie and they will say " Oh No " you can't have them now. I depend on them everyday, and all day. It is helping me cope with the pain, but at the same time is giving me different pain from the side effects. I am at a point I can't stopp at this point on my owm. I was told to try and wein my self off, and I couldn't. I read a story in here about an attorney named Freidman. I think that was the name, jashuwa Friedman , I think. It was about filing a class action suit against the manufacturer and I was wondering is it still going on? Can I be included in it? Or is it to late. Or maybe you may know another attorney who is filing one now. I would appreciate all the help you can give me. I think the manufacturer should have told the doctors right away that any patients you have taking Ultram, call them and wein them off right now. There was nothing done to help the people who were just starting to take them. If they were told soon they they wouldn't have been hooked on them. I received the paper from the drug store saying it was not addicting, well I mean it didn't say anything, meaning it is not. Then about a few months later they said it was addicting. somebody should be responsible for that. Thank you for listening. Please email me back at your earlist time.
