Heather I am glad to hear about your new Dr. That is wonderful that he understands you. Also if the patch ceases to work or you are still having problems don't be afraid to say any thing to him. It took 1 year and about 4 different hormonal therapies until I finally got mine straight. I now take 1 mg of Estridiol every other day and if I need to I use the cream about once a month. My Dr. said as I get older it might need to be changed more. I am 33 and when I had my Hysterectomy I was 31. Its really nice talking with you! Kelly Marlow

Kelly, I am sorry about your miscarriage. Fortunately I had my three children before I started having issues. Yes my new doctor seems to understand. I still have my left ovary but he told me it is buried in adhesions and they pulled it back into my bowels. I ask him if since it isn't "out" where it belongs if that is why I am suffering a few menopausal symptoms lately (night sweats, hot flashes, mood swings) and said it is possible, gave me an estrogen patch to try (which is helping). I thanked him profusely for his understanding and help. He said "it's your body, you know what you need" I said "you don't know how many doctors I have been to who claim I don't know what I need!"
