The omentum is a lining that supports or holds in the abdominal structures.
Many people who have had surgery have adhesions from the surgery and have no
symptoms. It is only when these adhesions cause pain or hold organs in an
unnatural position that they cause problems. Do some researching on
adhesions from the IAS site and see if it applies to you.
