I know how you feel!!! I always thought that I was alone in this fight too. The IAS web site has saved me. I have more family now than I ever thought possible. I see here how everyone "bonds" together to help eachother.

I have tried deep breathing when I didn't have my meds, it would work but for a very short time, like 5 minutes. I used to take 800mgs of advil 3 times a day, it would help a little but not much. For me, the only way that I get the relief I need is with narcotics. Is there any reason why you don't want the narcotics or is it that your doc is reluctant to prescribe them?
