Hi All My Cousin just got an implantable Pump, implanted about a month ago and he had to take pain meds for about 4 days post op and has since then had ABSOLUTELY no pain. He has 5 crushed or mostly missing discs in his back...and has suffered with terruble pain for about 10 years and has been in pain management for about 8 ..and he said today that he feels more like a human being now...than he has since before the accident that ruined his back....i also have an aunt that has had an implantable pump for about 2 yrs now and has been relatively free of pain since then. I dont know if any of us with Ard would even be eligible for these..but i do know that they work wonders. Hugs and Love Tish
