One time Helen posted a link that was written by a lawyer about pain law. She told the story of an elderly man who was dying of cancer in a nursing home. The nurse taking care of him decided that his problem was that he was addicted to the morphine that his doctors had prescribed, and she weaned him off of it. His family did not discover that the nurse was withholding his meds until after he died (died in agony, of course.) According to the article, the family won over 3 million dollars in the lawsuit.
