I spoke to my gastroenterologist today. He informed me of a noninvasive
treatment that is being used by for adhesions with remarkable success.
My doctor said he knows it works as it was done on a hernia patient he
knows. It is called Frequency Specific Microcurrent therapy. To find a
practitioner in your area, call Carolyn McMakin in Portland, OR
[503]762-0805. I found one [his specialty is pain management] and they
told me the treatments are 30 minutes long, and it takes up to 6
treatments. Also, since I have insurance, all I have to pay is my
co-payment of $25. Otherwise I think the treatments are about $70. You
have to drink alot of water prior to the treatment because it works
electrically.
