Hi Dave,

Hope this note finds you well. Thank you for being here for me when I need it the most. I have found some good doctors finally. Before I moved to Boise, all I had ever known in Idaho was small-minded doctors with very little experience in adhesions. I was not taken seriously or maybe it was just that they didn't know what to do and so they didn't address my problems. But since living here, the doctors are wonderful. I have found a very good gyno that doesn't charge me unless he "has to use his brain" which I am shocked at. Most doctors don't give a crap about that kind of stuff. They want their money and NOW!!! I found a good surgeon that will not do surgery on me unless it is necessary. I found a gasterinologist that has the best reputation in his field here. (He's got a lot of learning on bedside manner, but he's very good at what he does.) I am thankful that I have the opportunity to be treated with dignity now. So many times before I wasn't as we all know all too well.

I love dogs. I used to have a Black Lab and a Chocolate Lab. And yes, they used to sleep with me too. The big babies, they hogged all the bed and even took my covers. It was a challenge for us all to sleep together, plus my two cats. They actually used to fight over which one was going to sleep next to me. Sometimes I'd wake up and be sandwiched in like a sardine or teetering on the edge, just about to fall out becasue they kept scooting closer and closer until there was no where else for me to go but on the floor. Those were fun times. I miss my dogs, as my X hubby kept them. He lives in the country and I live in the city. But I still have one of my cats. The other ran away.

Have a great day and may God's love be with you and shine upon you. I pray that you have a comfy day as I read your story on the quilt. What an amazing story. You are so lucky to be here with us. Sorry you have to suffer in pain, but there is always a reason that we are put on this earth, is what I'm finding out. Recently I was about to give up and the letters came pouring in for me to hold on and not to give up. I needed that and now I am feeling much better. I have some pain relief from my new meds, and my life is a little easier.

Friendship, Tonya
