they did mine under mild sedation, so I really don't remeber much pain during or after. Sorry I am not much help, Good luck and God Bless

Karla, I was glad to hear that you have returned home from the
hospital. I know you have been thru alot and had decided to not
have any more surgery, but sometime circumstances change our decisions
for us. This sounds like a surgery that you Do need to prevent
further damage. I pray that God will help you to make your decision.
