Hello Rita,

Thanks for your concern. I know what you mean about the doctors treating you like you're a nut. I've been told that it's only because I am depressed and that my mind can make up things in order to get sympathy from people. My surgeon has proven otherwise. I've always been able to tell them where the pain begins and where it ends. I know it sounds funny but I can. And I've been right 100% of the time.

Your pain sounds very similar to mine. One minute I'm fine and feeling pretty good and then all of a sudden it doubles me over with excrutiating pains that just won't go away. Then the next 2 hours might be semi-okay and on and on it goes. I fear that my liver has new adhesions also. When my surgeon went in this last time in Aug. 2002, he said that my liver was fine, but I still have the pain and even worse. I wonder if the adhesions can grow underneathe the liver where it would be hard for a laporoscope can see it? I was told once that laporascopic surgery is limited ...depending where they put the holes in you, I suppose. I don't know, but it is good to find out that there is someone else with my same problems. I am not alone in this anymore. Thank you for your help. At least I know that I'm not nuts...

Hope you are feeling comfy today....at least have the edge taken off. Pain is so terrible.

Tonya
