Joyce, I don't have the problem with painful bowelmovements. My pain is
a squeezing pain. When I have left flank pain, I have left side lower
abdominal pain. I had surgery in April for adhesions and the pain went
away after the surgery. Then in August, I had a urinary tract infection
and that started the pain all over again. My doc said he didn't think
that the urinary tract infection had anything to do with it. It is
strange though, after I urinate, my pain is worse. I just had a
colonoscopy to be on the safe side and everything was normal. I went
back to the surgeon who did my last adhesion surgery and he is going to
do another scope on the 18th. I hope some of this info has helped.
