>Mary Lou, probably others have responded to you by now, but I read your email and just had to write. Yes, oxycontin is codeine based and if you are allergic or sensitive to codeine then I guess it is not for you. I took it and worked long and hard, but everyone is different. I live in California and yes, it is expensive, but hopefully, you can make friends or at least learn to love the nature opportunities and, I know, with adhesions, its hard to get out of bed. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. Love, Sally

Can they do surgery for you? I had surgery for adhesions last April and now I'm going in for another surgery on Dec 18th. My internal med doc said that he knows this woman that had to have three surgeries in six months. I am working 40hr work days at a light duty factory. I use to be a medical assistant in a doctor's office, but I also have fibromyalgia and I couldn't keep up the pace. I have a sit down job now. I take two 50mg tab's of Ultram every four hrs while I'm working and I take 10mg of Oxycotin after I get home. Some days it helps and some it doesn't. Today is Sat and I took the oxycotin at 11:00a.m. and I just now at 6:30 p.m. had to take an Ultram. I am in bed most of the time. I know how you are feeling and all that you are going through. My heart goes out to you. It feels like we have no quality of life doesn't it. Can you apply for disability? I am going to see what this surgery does for me and if it doesn't help, I'm going to see if I can't go on disability. Good luck to you and let me know how you are doing. We have to stick together.
