Please keep Shawna French in your thoughts and prayers. She was
admitted to the hospital today in Iowa with severe, uncontrollable pain.
Shawna has been vomiting and not able to eat for days, plus she has
difficulty even standing or sitting. Her doctor is trying to get the
pain under control with IV Demerol and other meds. Shawna will undergo
tests tomorrow to try to determine where the kinks are in her bowels.
I have been in touch with Shawna in the hospital. If you send me e-mail
messages for her, I will read them to her over the phone. Shawna is a
real sweetheart and has become a dear friend of mine, one who deserves a
better quality of life, like all of us adhesion sufferers do. I'll keep
you posted on her condition during the next few days.
