Hi Kandi,
I have a suggestion for you. My daughter (16) has had all of what you are suffering.
We took her to the emergency room time and again. Ultra sound upon ultra sound, upon x-rays
and scopes etc. When having one of the ultra sounds, the lady that was performing the ultra
sound had just been through the same thing. Thank God! She said the ultra sound only shows
if you have gall stones and she suffered with her gall blatter until someone told her about
the HYDA-SCAN, which shows if the gall blatter is functioning or not. The ultra sound is only
good to check for gall stones, and the hyda-scan shows if the gall blatter is emptying. We finially
got a refferal to a ped. gi specialist that ordered a hyda-scan and guess what? Her gall blatter
wasn't emptying like it's suppose to. Now we are facing surgery Dec. 13, 2002 and hopefully things
will be back to normal. I suggest you find someone who will order you a hyda-scan. The test is a
breeze. There is nothing to it, and maybe they will find you problem. We lived in emergency rooms and
doctors offices since oct. 3 and have gotten totaly sick of hearing nothing was wrong. Well the
scan proved them wrong. It is the only test they offer to show the if the gall blatter is functioning.
Hope I have been some help to you. Keep my e-mail address and let me know what you find out!
