I had the same problem, laying down was difficult too, My doc said it was from the gas they fill you up with, it took 3 weeks, for the discomfort to go away, and once in a while I still get those sharp pains in my shoulders when I take a deep breath, and that is tough cause unfortunately i am a smoker.
