Hugggz Hun,

Hmm what to tell your daughter... I have a 10 yr old daughter and a 13 yr old son. And my husband and I dont hide anything from them. We inform them on everything that is going on. My daughter is a worryer, so I feel if I didnt share with her exactly what was going on, she would definately be freakin.

Like today, she is getting an award at her school, and its something I ABSOLUTELY do NOT want to miss. So I got access to a wheelchair and I asked her first, Do you mind if mom comes in a wheelchair? Will it embarass you? She said of course not mom, I just want you there...I love you

Both of my kids know I'm not going to die from this, but they do know that there is not much I can do physical wise. I am blessed though having a husband in the home that helps tremendously, and that might be why my kids have adjusted to this.

I say be straight with her hun, kids are smarter than we think. Her going to school and talkin bout Germany should prove that. And she will probably like that you share something with her that is a big part of your life.
