Dear Bobbi,

Every time I read one of your posts I am left wondering exactly what it is US doctors need to see & hear before they act in the best interests for the patient!

How can you be left in such an appalling state of health?? Bobbi I am just lost for words... I Find reading messages from my US friends hard sometimes.... I can't imagine just how distressing and frightening it is for all of you!

While sometimes we have to shop around a bit for a doctor we feel comfortable with, I have never had any problems in hospital emergency rooms etc.... well except for after our car accident, but that’s a long story!

Do you have a good GP family doctor Bobbi who knows about all your illnesses & understands your pain etc? It was something that came up in a discussion with a few aussie adhesions buddies and I had last week... and we think we see a trend (from all the messages posted and the discussions we have in bombo's chat room or on msn) that ARD sufferers spend a lot of time going from doctor to doctor looking for one who understands. I wonder if that compounds the problem for you Bobbi when you have to go to the ER etc... please don't misunderstand me, just curious what you think about our theory.... I look forward to your reply!

Love & warm gentle hugs, Jo
