Huggz Tish,

Yes it is upsetting to deal with these uneducated doctors, over and over again. The insurance I have is state assistance, and yes you can change the primary doctor over and over again until you are satisfied. The thing is I have done this 3 times already in the past 8 months. I've just had enough. So instead of us picking another doctor out of the hat, we are going straight to the source this time and contacted the insurance company themselves. I believe it was the grievance committee that my husband talked to yesterday. He told them that I have been bounced from doctor to doctor since Feb, with no pain relief whatsoever. I'm at the point now, my body is soo tired from no relief that I want the surgery. My history, I am pain free for a good year, year and a half before the pain comes back after the surgery. I WANT that year painfree.

When he contacted them yesterday, they documented all the info and he INFORMED them that their doctors are quacks and even though they usually dont want to do it, he INSISTS they send me to my old doctor 3 hours away and cover it to get my surgery. Even though she is not in their network. The lady said this was definately out of her league and she would have to give it to her supervisor, but that someone would get back with us. They have 3-5 days to respond.

I would just take the money out of my own pocket, but we have no money. Hubby lost his job because he had to stay home and take care of me and the kids being that I cant even get out of bed anymore.

I definately wont give up, if anything...These doctors have made me more determined than ever to get help and NOT let them win. I WILL be pain free again. I GUARANTEE it, even if its only for alittle while, I will be.

Hugggz Tish, thank you for responding Warm painfree hugggz to you and everyone

Lori
